 Now that we've established that you need a broadband connection for
your Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) setup, you have to decide whether or not you need a symmetrical connection. In
our SOHO range, 'S' packages are symmetrical while 'A' packages are not. Symmetry could be important if, for instance,
you are pushing a lot of files out to the internet or if other people are accessing your machines in order to pull
stuff from them. Symmetrical services won't be available from BT's exchanges in our region for several years to come, and
this is a chance to get something that few in Britain can yet enjoy. Remember the name of the package which suits you:

One-off installation charges
Our approach requires us to install radio equipment on your premises. This is usually on the roof, and we then run
a single Cat5 cable carrying both power and data into the building and terminate this as an RJ45 network connector or
socket.

All 'SOHO' prices are exclusive of VAT. Minimum contract 12 months. All our 'SOHO' packages are managed to give the
equivalent of a 20:1 contention rate at worst. (Contention is the connection-sharing which all providers do to take
account of the fact that not everybody is accessing the net at the same time, and most published contention rates are
higher than ours.) We strongly recommend you add a firewall and anti-virus software to your setup and can provide
these at competitive prices.
